An international network

ESN (Erasmus Student Network) is a network of associations hosting young people by young people, launched with the support of the European Commission in 1989. The network has been present in Lyon since 2006.

The network exists in more than 40 countries, mainly in Europe, and brings together associations that share the same aims and values. The ESN enables these associations to meet, exchange experiences and carry out ambitious projects together.

The ESN network is involved in a range of international projects designed to improve the living conditions of young people on a mobility scheme, focusing on different themes such as sport, inclusion, disability and youth involvement... The network's associations implement these projects through local initiatives. In Lyon, this is the case for projects such as BuddySystem and ESNcard...

ESN CosmoLyon

The ESN network is present on the various campuses in the metropolitan area (Lyon, Villeurbanne, Bron...) through the activities of the CosmoLyon association.

CosmoLyon was created in 2003 (under the name Cosmopolitan Lyon Club), and welcomes young people from all campuses with over 200 events a year!

The association is based at the Maison des Étudiants (Lyon 7), where it meets, but you can meet its members in the corridors of all the universities and schools.
